Moreover, many people feel that they can’t make money from their social media because they didn’t come up with the idea first.

Today I’m going to share with you how you can begin to monetize your social media WITHOUT starting your own company from scratch.

So if you are ready to start making money online, I’ve got a few tips for you. If you do them consistently over time, that’s when you still start to see results.
When you start doing different things, you’ll naturally start to get different results, right?

If you haven’t noticed, people are more open today than ever to learn how to make money online. In the past couple years, because of health issues from around the world, more people are open to working from home.
My Top Tips and Tricks to help you monetize your social media
The great news is that:
- it’s super easy
- you can work it part time
- fits in the nooks and crannies of your day
- you do not need a business plan
- you do not need an LLC
- you do not need any business experience
Tip #1 to Monetize Your Social Media: Show up consistently and provide value.
There are so many “ways” people can show up online these days. You’ve got FB lives, posts, FB/IG stories, tiktok, reels, podcasts, blogs….the ways are endless.
You may ask, well how does showing up consistently make me money?
Did you know that you can earn commissions by social platforms for sponsored posts and other platform specific monetization programs?
If you want to show up online and make money online there are a few ways to do it…
The 1st way is to Entertain:
Perhaps you have the gift of humor? Do you love to make people laugh by sharing funny things? Ryan Higa is a perfect example of how to use the art of entertainment to create income. He used his wit and humor to build a successful social media presence.
The 2nd way is to Inspire:
Taking people on a journey with you. Have you experienced a life situation that allows you to offer an inspirational outlook on life?
The 3rd way is to Educate Your Audience:
Which is what I’m doing now. Sal Kahn, creator of Kahn Academy, is a great example of someone who educated his audience incredibly well. He eventually began receiving donations, sponsorships, and partnerships.
You just need to be one step ahead of someone and they will begin to look at you as a source of authority.

Tip #2 to Monetize Your Social Media: Build Relationships.
You build relationships By finding the people you want to do business with. Your current friends list might not be the kind of people you want to do business with. YOu may have to go find people that you can drive back to you.
In the beginning, you may find that you have to start building relationships with strangers. You have to start being more intentional with the relationships you’re building.
You’d be surprised to find out what could happen when you invest in building relationships.
What happens when you go shopping somewhere and you have a fabulous experience. Or out to eat and you loved it….you go tell your friends right? You build relationships so you can grow your referral marketing.
Tip #3 to Monetize Your Social Media: Partner with a company that will pay you
There is Affiliate Marketing, Influencer Marketing, Network Marketing, Social Retail…whatever industry floats your boat. I’m personally a big fan of affiliate marketing and social retail. Ultimately, you want to find a company that will pay you to promote their brand. You get to skip over all the dirty work. There is no need to clock in and out even though you have your own business! Why? Because you are partnered with a company that takes that burden off of you.
One of the other benefits of this model is developing the skills necessary to help yourself grow.
You will begin to master things like marketing, sales, follow ups, closing, and content creation.
In many businesses, people just think, well, I’ll just go start a business.
But then all of their efforts are poured into creating products to sell, manufacturing, marketing.
They begin to ride the struggle bus, unable to sell it because they don’t know how to market their products.
They never studied marketing, and they spend all this time creating a product or just sitting in a store.
So here is my recommendation to you if you want to start a business without really “starting” a business:
Start in a simple market like Network marketing or social retail. This will allow you to build the habits and skills needed to be successful.
Things like leadership, organization, and marketing. You can build a great residual income. And all the skills that you will start to learn will pile on top of one another.
THEN, you can branch out and be very successful.
Perhaps one day you would like to create your own product, coach or just expand your business.
You don’t want to do all that until you create foundational skills to build a good business.
Learning now how to monetize your social media, how to show up…its the future.
In conclusion, go find a way to make money online!
You’re possibly one step away from a whole new life but you have to be brave enough to go for it. When you remember that other people’s opinions do not pay your bills, that’s when your life takes on a new direction.
